We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative environment that fosters skill development and active involvement in the company’s growth.\n We are seeking an Avionics Hardware Architect with expertise in DO-254 and airborne electronic hardware development to lead the architecture, design, and certification of safety-critical avionics systems.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for defining and architecting complete avionics hardware solutions from requirements through certification while working closely with systems and software engineering teams.\nLocation: The role can be onsite (CT), hybrid, or fully remote.\nResponsibilities\nArchitect end-to-end avionics hardware systems from concept through certification and production.\nCollaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.\nLead airborne electronic hardware development activities in compliance with DO-254.\nSupport certification audits and regulatory compliance activities.\nAble to assess and advise on the application of COTS in alignment with AC 20-152A\nAble to define interfacing between Hardware and FPGA.\nAble to define interfacing between Software and FPGA.\nInterpret PCB/CBA design considerations and constraints.\nSupport definition and allocation of system-level and software requirements.\nDesign and implement solutions for FPGA, ASIC, board-level, and embedded hardware efforts.\nConduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and trade studies.\nDrive requirements traceability, verification planning, and validation activities.\nMentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.\n Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.\nStrong avionics hardware development experience.\nExtensive hands-on 12+ years of experience with DO-254 certification programs.\nExperience architecting complex avionics hardware systems throughout the product lifecycle.\nStrong understanding of:Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH)\nFPGA and digital hardware development\nHardware/Software Interfacing\nSystems engineering methodologies\n\nExcellent communication and technical leadership skills.\nU.S. citizenship is required.
