We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a collaborative environment that fosters skill development and active involvement in the company’s growth.\n Position Overview\nWe are seeking an experienced FPGA Development Engineer with experience in real-time embedded systems development to lead requirements, design and development activities of safety-critical airborne systems.\nThe ideal candidate will be capable of receiving systems requirements and able to guide the development lifecycles to satisfy DO-254 objectives. This individual will provide technical leadership across development activities as well as provide input to certification and verification teams.\nThis role can be onsite (CT), hybrid, or fully remote.\nResponsibilities\nTechnically lead end-to-end FPGA development activities for embedded aerospace and defense systems from concept to integration.\nCollaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.\nEnsure compliance of safety-critical FPGA design in accordance with DO-254 and AC 20-152A objectives by supporting certification audits, reviews and data package development.\nAble to define interfacing between Hardware and FPGA.\nAble to define interfacing between Software and FPGA.\nDefine, solve and defend technical decisions to stakeholders while guiding technical implementation; including conducting of formal design reviews.\nEnsure efficient and accurate capturing of device-level requirements.\nAccurate and effective implementation of requirements into conceptual and detailed design.\nSupport development efforts in alignment to developed schedules and quality objectives while interfacing with stakeholders to communicate technical status.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.\n Qualifications\nBachelor's or degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering, science, or technical discipline.\nMinimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in FPGA, programmable logic, digital hardware, or embedded systems development.\nStrong understanding of:Embedded hardware architectures and development processes\nCOTS IP selection and associated analyses\nSafety-critical hardware development\nSystems engineering processes\nVHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog or similar hardware design languages\nPython and other equivalent scripting languages\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.\nExcellent communication and technical leadership skills.\nU.S. Citizenship is required.
