Let’s shape it together.\n We are looking for a Network Engineer to help design, implement, maintain and evolve modern network infrastructures for our customers.\nYou will play a key role in supporting both operational activities and infrastructure projects, ensuring secure, reliable and scalable environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.\nIn this role, you will work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud and Security teams to support network operations, troubleshoot complex issues, contribute to infrastructure improvements and participate in digital transformation initiatives. If you thrive on challenge and meet (most of) the qualifications below, we look forward to your application!\nYou'll have knowledge and experience of the following:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant equivalent.\nAt least 3 years of experience in Networking, Infrastructure or Network & Security environments.\nGood understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP and VPN technologies.\nExperience with network technologies and vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point or similar solutions.\nExperience in network monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution.\nUnderstanding of network security concepts, firewalls and segmentation principles.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.\nFluent in English and either French or Dutch.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.\nExposure to hybrid network architectures and cloud networking services.\nExperience with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python or similar).\nKnowledge of DevOps practices and tooling.\nFamiliarity with Zero Trust and modern security concepts.\nRelevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Fortinet NSE or equivalent.\nClear written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nWhat to expect from working at Sopra Steria\nBecome part of a major Tech player in Europe that is recognised for consulting, digital services and software development.
