We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.\nThe Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.\n We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Senior ServiceNow Developer) to join the Sopra Steria Polska team and contribute to the projects for our clients.\nNote that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.\nResponsibilities:\nParticipate in ServiceNow implementation, enhancement, and optimization projects.\nAnalyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.\nDesign, configure, and develop solutions on the ServiceNow platform, primarily within the ITSM module.\nDevelop and maintain workflows, integrations, catalog items, business rules, script includes, and other custom platform components.\nImplement new functionalities and enhancements in accordance with business and technical requirements.\nTroubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.\nReview, optimize, and refactor custom code to ensure performance, maintainability, and compliance with ServiceNow best practices.\nSupport platform upgrades, patches, and releases, including testing and validation activities.\nMonitor and maintain integrations and APIs to ensure reliable platform operations.\nMaintain up-to-date technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and custom developments.\nCollaborate with stakeholders, consultants, and Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\nRecommend and implement continuous improvements to enhance platform functionality, performance, and user experience.\n We are looking for someone with:\nSolid hands-on ServiceNow development experience, ideally around 4-5 years.\nGood knowledge of ITSM and the ServiceNow platform in general.\nPractical experience with CMDB, CI classes, relationships and data imports.\nExperience with REST integrations, IntegrationHub, Import Sets/Transform Maps and scripting.\nGood ServiceNow scripting skills: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, GlideRecord, Flow Designer, etc.\nUnderstanding of data modelling and ability to translate functional/data requirements into ServiceNow configurations.\nAbility to analyse existing solutions, troubleshoot issues and independently implement moderate-complexity changes.\nExperience with upgrades, maintenance and day-to-day evolution of ServiceNow ITSM processes.\nExperience with Discovery, Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE), CSDM, Service Graph Connectors, Security Operations or ServiceNow instance consolidation would be an advantage, but is not required.\nAdditional must Have Requirements:\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nFluent English B2/C1.\nStrong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.\nProactive and detail-oriented.\nAbility to document processes and share knowledge effectively.\nBeing open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.\n What we offer:\n- BENEFITS (UoP): Luxmed, Medicover Sport, Worksmile, educational platforms, languages learning platform, referral bonus,[copyrights, life insurance, certifications (paid by the company), conferences, Tech Lunches, possibility to join our Communities (Project Management, Architecture, Security, Process Management, Leadership, AI and Cloud), local kindergarten.\n- DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES (B2B): Tech Lunches, Worksmile, possibility to join our Communities (Project Management, Architecture, Security, Process Management, Leadership, AI and Cloud).\nADDITION: free parking, fresh fruits, workation.\nIn case of questions, please contact the HR team.\nThe recruitment process for this position consists of two stages:\na short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)\none-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)\nSalary range:\nUOP: 12 000 -16 000 PLN gross/month;\nB2B: 100-140 PLN/h net + vat.\nAll information about salary range and its additional components will be provided during the 1st stage of recruitment process.\nAt our organization, we are committed to fighting against all forms of discrimination.
