We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.\nThe Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.\n We are looking for a Solution Architect to join Sopra Steria Apps Services team on an international Program for a leader in the aerospace sector.\nNote that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, coherence, and security of IT solutions implemented within transformation projects.\nActs as a subject-matter expert, ensuring alignment between business needs, functional and technical constraints, architecture standards, and the overall IT strategy.\nDesign the functional and technical architecture of solutions.\nDefine architecture building blocks, patterns, and integration principles within the IT ecosystem.\nEnsure compliance with architecture, security, and infrastructure standards, as well as data and performance requirements.\nFormalize recommendations, support decision-making with the client, and document architectural decisions.\nPrepare, structure, and facilitate functional and technical workshops.\nCoordinate interactions between business teams, IT, security, infrastructure, and project teams.\nEnsure the global consistency of the architecture across all contributors (domains, experts, development teams).\nMaster and apply project processes, particularly during architecture phases.\nParticipate in or lead application audits (obsolescence, security, reliability).\nIntegrate data classification and cybersecurity standards into all architectural decisions.\nProduce architecture deliverables.\nMonitor and regularly update architecture risks, assumptions, and decisions.\nContribute to architecture governance: committees, reviews, steering committees.\nTech stack on the project:\nvarious.\n Must have requirements:\n10 to 15 years of experience, especially in complex IT transformation projects.\nStrong background in end-to-end architecture design (functional / technical).\nRegular practice in writing architecture documentation and facilitating workshops.\nCollaboration with security, infrastructure, business, data, and development teams.\nParticipation in technical or performance audits.\nApplication and technical architecture (multi-system, integration, patterns, APIs).\nCloud architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP): fundamentals + enterprise integration.\nStrong knowledge of IT/OT security standards, IAM, compliance, and data classification.\nUnderstanding of data architecture practices (data flows, data modeling, data quality).\nArchitecture modelling (Archimate).\nNatural leadership and advisory posture.\nExcellent communication and ability to simplify complex topics.\nAnalytical thinking, synthesis skills, and problem-solving mindset.\nStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.\nAgile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).\nArchitecture best practices (TOGAF).\nEU citizenship.\nFluent English: B2/C1.\nBeing open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.\nNice to have requirements:\nCertifications appreciated: TOGAF / SAFe / Archimate, Cloud Architect (Azure/AWS/GCP), ITIL.\nFrench language skills (any level)\nWhat we offer:\nBENEFITS (UoP): Luxmed, Medicover Sport, Worksmile, educational platforms, languages learning platform, referral bonus, copyrights, life insurance, certifications (paid by the company), conferences, Tech Lunches, possibility to join our Communities (Project Management, Architecture, Security, Process Management, Leadership, AI and Cloud), local kindergarten.\n\nDEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES (B2B): Tech Lunches, Worksmile, possibility to join our Communities (Project Management, Architecture, Security, Process Management, Leadership, AI and Cloud).\n\nADDITION: free parking, fresh fruits, workation.\n\nIn case of questions, please contact the HR team.\nThe recruitment process for this position consists of two stages:\na short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)\none-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)\nSalary range:\nUOP: 18 000 -22 000 PLN gross/month.\nB2B: 135-180/190 PLN/h net.\nAll information about salary range and its additional components will be provided during the 1st stage of recruitment process.\nAt our organization, we are committed to fighting against all forms of discrimination.
