For more information, visit us at www.soprasteria.com.\nAre you ready to take on the challenge with us?\n We are hiring a Technical Recruiter in Montréal.\nYou will own hiring across our Canadian and U.S. operations, recruiting talent across Software Engineering, Cloud & DevOps, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, SAP, Business Analysis, Project Management, and other consulting and corporate functions. You will be hunting for talent, running searches end to end, closing candidates, and making sure they land well once they say yes. The volume is high, the timelines are tight, and priorities shift with client demand. If you're interested in taking on new challenges, it's worth the read.\nYou will report directly to our Senior Manager, Operations and partner with hiring managers and delivery leads across the business. You will have genuine ownership from day one, direct visibility with leadership, and the chance to shape how talent acquisition works here rather than inherit a process that is already fixed.\n Main missions :\nHead-hunting and Sourcing\nSource passive candidates through direct outreach, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean and X-ray searches, referrals, alumni networks, GitHub, Meetups, and technical communities.\nBuild and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles ahead of hiring needs.\nDevelop compelling outreach campaigns that generate engagement from high-demand technical talent.\nConduct market mapping, salary benchmarking, and talent availability analysis across Canadian and U.S. markets.\nRepresent Sopra Steria at career fairs, networking events, and campus recruitment activities.\nFull-Cycle Recruitment\nManage the full recruitment lifecycle, from intake and sourcing strategy to interviews, assessments, references, offers, and hiring.\nLead intake meetings to define role requirements, key qualifications, compensation ranges, and hiring timelines.\nConduct competency-based and technical pre-screen interviews, assessing skills, motivation, compensation expectations, and work authorization.\nPresent well-documented candidate shortlists with clear recommendations.\nEnsure consistent communication and a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the process.\nRecruit primarily for permanent full-time positions, with some contractor hiring.\nMaintain accurate, audit-ready ATS records and ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. employment and privacy regulations.\nOnboarding\nSupport pre-boarding activities from offer acceptance through Day 1.\nCoordinate onboarding logistics with IT, Finance, HR, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to ensure readiness of equipment, system access, payroll, and workspace.\nDeliver Day 1 onboarding and orientation while maintaining onboarding materials and checklists.\nConduct 30- and 90-day follow-up check-ins with new hires.\nOffice Operations Support\nServe as an on-site point of contact for the Montréal office during in-office days.\nCoordinate office logistics, including supplies, access badges, and courier services.\nLiaise with building management, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring timely resolution of requests.\nSupport internal events, team activities, and client visits.\nContribute to ad hoc administrative projects and process improvement initiatives with the Senior Manager, Operations.\n Three to five years of full-cycle recruitment\nDemonstrated experience recruiting technical or IT profiles\nA track record of managing high-volume, multi-requisition workloads against tight deadlines.\nComfortable in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint).\nPost-secondary diploma or degree in human resources, business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nFully bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.\n Competitive salary and annual performance bonus\nHealth Insurance\nSick and Personal Days, as well as 3 weeks of vacation\nHybrid work environment\nMonthly transportation allowance\nCompany equipment to help you work efficiently\nA friendly, collaborative, and inclusive culture\nWe offer phenomenal career progression opportunities and benefits which you can flex to meet your needs.
