Position Purpose: The successful candidate will work with the Technical Lead and report to the Solution Owner, to provide second line support and technical implementation: installation, maintenance, performance optimisation of infrastructure technologies:

  • Evaluate hardware and software (for server, network, storage or desktop environments)
  • Test all deliverables produced and document results.
  • Integration and test of new products (both hardware and software) for incorporation into programme infrastructure.
  • Administration and enhancement of the environment and its supportability.
  • Provide second line support.
  • Carry out project tasks to ensure the viability of the project
  • Accurately assess time to complete tasks in order to follow standard project processes and procedures.
  • To be aware of the relevant SLA structure and to respond, fix or escalate according to the limits set out within that structure.
  • Maintain Operational and User procedures and ensure that Team Leader is informed of progress
