SOC Architect

Role Overview As Managing Security Architect for the SOC, you will be lead and govern all aspects of the SOC Architecture, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with Client and Business Requirements. Your leadership and expertise will be critical in fostering a strong culture of technology expertise and security by design across not only our client base for the services we offer but also for the SOC Service itself. This is an opportunity to lead the design and evolution of the SOC Security Architecture, ensuring platforms, detections and controls deliver measurable value to our client base.

Key Responsibilities Lead on security architecture activities for SOC and client engagements maintaining a framework of security controls that align with overall objectives and contractual obligations Document the detailed implementation of security controls in high level and low-level designs and define testing requirements that underpin our service and offering to our clients Own the SOC Architecture end to end, ensuring platform designs, integrations, detection content and operating models are compliant with regulatory, contractual and assurance requirements and aligned to approved security and governance controls. Define and govern detection content standard's, including rules, use cases, correlation logic ensuring consistency, quality and effectiveness across our offering Act as the technical authority for client security designs / blueprints / technology roadmap - Supporting the design and maturity of the SOC to meet CREST accreditation requirements. Contributing to achieving and maintaining accreditation.

Establish architectural principles, review designs and changes and provide technical sign off to reduce risk and ensure the SOC can scale in line with business growth. The role will also assess and introduce technologies that improve analyst effectiveness including automation AI Lead the analysis of existing and proposed technical architecture for security risk, applying secure architecture principles and practices to assure technical architectures Formulate security strategy for the SOC and our offering, creatively applying a wide range of technical and/or management principles and horizon scanning for emerging technologies and industry practice's to inform SOC Architectural direction and strategy
