This position involves supervising and mentoring team members, maintaining compliance with professional standards, and fostering strong client relationships to deliver exceptional service and achieve firm objectives.\nYour Impact (Essential Duties):\nSupervise a variety of complex assurance projects, including audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures\nApply expertise in GAAP, GAAS, and other financial reporting frameworks to evaluate audit risks and guide strategy\nPlan engagements by managing budgets, staffing, and scope of work, revising programs as necessary\nSupervise, train, and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback to ensure growth and performance\nMonitor project completion to ensure team productivity, profitability, and adherence to audit objectives\nReview workpapers, financial statements, and audit programs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance\nAssess findings, classify control deficiencies, and prepare management and governance letters for clients\nPrepare proposals for new assurance work, setting realistic and profitable fee structures\nCommunicate effectively with clients and team members to address project statuses and audit issues\nFoster and develop meaningful client relationships to ensure expectations are clearly defined and met\nParticipate in professional development through training sessions and independent learning opportunities\nDemonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize engagements and meet deadlines\nPerform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership\nMeet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivity\nYour Background:\n4-6 years of experience in assurance-related work\nCPA license or eligible\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field\nStrong understanding of audit standards, procedures, and financial reporting frameworks\nAbility to manage complex engagements and align with firm goals\nProficiency in audit software and related tools\nDeveloping strong leadership and communication skills to mentor team members and collaborate with clients\nExcellent organizational skills to handle multiple engagements effectively\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting\nAnalytical thinking to address complex audit and accounting issues\nFull-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines\nWhy Choose Us?\nAt Sorren, we’re invested in your growth-both personally and professionally.
