This position involves supervising and training junior staff, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, managing deadlines, and maintaining effective communication with clients to understand their financial needs and tax liabilities.\nYour Impact (Essential Duties):\nPrepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and consolidated tax returns\nReview associates’ and interns’ tax returns, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and support growth\nPerform and review quarterly and annual accounting procedures to prepare financial records for tax purposes\nIdentify organizational structures and related entities for tax implications and big-picture impacts\nEnsure accurate and complete data for filings, identifying and communicating missing information\nCalculate quarterly and annual estimated tax liabilities accurately\nConduct tax planning to identify opportunities for improvement and added value for clients\nResearch and resolve complex tax issues, providing guidance and recommendations\nCommunicate effectively with team members and clients, providing updates and addressing questions\nSupervise, train, and mentor associates and interns to enhance team performance and skill development\nContribute to team efforts by assisting with projects and engaging in collaborative problem-solving\nStay updated on tax laws and best practices through ongoing training and independent learning\nManage engagements efficiently, meeting deadlines, particularly during high-demand periods\nPerform other duties and displays flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership \nMeet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivity\nYour Background:\n3-5 years of experience in tax preparation\nCPA license or eligible\nBachelor’s degree in accounting or related field\nIn-depth understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements\nProficiency in tax preparation software and accounting tools\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and document reviews\nStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members\nExceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nAnalytical skills to solve complex tax issues and understand broader financial implications\nLeadership and mentoring abilities to supervise and develop junior staff\nFull-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines\nThe compensation range for this role is $76,000 to 103,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
