This role will be responsible for delivering automation to key national security missions interacting with petabyte-scale data on supercomputing resources.\nThe ideal candidate will have a background in AI/ML model development and have experience in Python programming, handling SQL databases, and working in command line interfaces. You will leverage scientific techniques to transform petabyte-scale data into insightful data products to enable dta-driven decisions. You will perform using Scrumban techniques and be embedded with end users.\nThe team will work with technologies including:\nOpen source, commercial, and government software packages such as Docker, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, PostgreSQL, and other tools.\nLeverage GitOps patterns and CI/CD with tools like GitLab and GitHub.\nEssential Job Duties\nDevelop and deploy data science solutions leveraging Python or similar languages.\nUtilize Linux for development of data processing and model deployment.\nCollaborate with data engineers to improve data colleciton, quality, and access.\nPrioritize tasks efficiently and adapt solutions to meet project requirements.\nDocument processes and outcomes for transparency and future reference.\nWrite clean, testable, maintainable code in Python and other languages.\n Minimum Requirements\nTop Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility.\nDegree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or other quantitative field.\n1-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist\nProgramming knowledge in Python or similar language\nExperience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.\nExperience with both Linux and Windows operating systems.\nKnowledge of CI/CD and Agile methodolgies.\nUnderstanding of software design and system integration.\nPreferrred Qualifications\nExperience with petabyte scale data sets\nExperience with multi-INT analytics\n Work Environment\nOffice setting with a combination of desk work and meetings.\nOccasional remote work or telecommuting opportunities.\nPotential travel for conferences,
