You will be responsible for building, scaling, and continuously improving end-to-end operations - from inbound inventory and quality control through to last-mile delivery and customer fulfilment. You are the kind of person who knows exactly what is happening in your domain at any given moment - not because you micromanage, but because you build systems and teams that give you full visibility and control. You take ownership completely, act decisively, and drive results without needing to be pushed.\nWhat You Will Do\nBuild and Scale Operations\nDesign, launch, and scale operational processes for the electronics vertical from the ground up or take existing operations to a significantly higher level of performance.\n\nEstablish standard operating procedures, performance benchmarks, and quality frameworks that can sustain rapid growth.\n\nOversee the full operational lifecycle - inventory management, warehousing, quality inspection, dispatch, and last-mile delivery.\n\nDrive Performance Through Data\n\nOwn the analytics layer of operations: define the KPIs that matter, build dashboards, and use data daily to diagnose problems and make decisions.\n\nApply quantitative thinking to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, optimise capacity, and allocate resources effectively.\n\nBuild a culture where decisions are evidence-based and gut feelings are validated with numbers.\n\nLead with Technology and AI\nActively identify and integrate AI tools and automation into operational workflows to increase speed, accuracy, and team output.\n\nStay at the frontier of how technology is changing operations and bring that knowledge into Soum before it becomes standard practice.\n\nChampion the use of modern tooling across your team - from warehouse management systems to AI-assisted process design.\n\nProject Management and Execution\nManage multiple operational projects simultaneously with complete discipline - clear plans, defined milestones, tracked progress, and zero tolerance for ambiguity.\n\nAnticipate risks before they become problems and have contingency plans ready.\n\nDrive cross-functional alignment with Product, Tech, Commercial, and Customer Experience teams to deliver on shared goals.\n\nTeam Leadership\nBuild, develop, and lead an operations team - setting high standards, providing clear direction, and holding people accountable.\n\nCreate an environment where the team understands exactly what is expected, has the tools to deliver, and is developed continuously.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nExperience and Background\n4-5+ years of progressive operations experience, ideally in e-commerce, last-mile delivery, logistics, or a related high-throughput environment.\n\nDemonstrated track record of building large-scale operations from scratch or scaling them significantly - not just maintaining them.\n\nFluency in Arabic is mandatory.
