The people who thrive here love solving hard customer problems, bring a growth mindset that's always eager to learn, and don't mind rolling up their sleeves for operational work or jumping in wherever the team needs a hand.\nYou'll love it here if you:\nEnjoy taking ownership and seeing your ideas come to life\n\nLike working at pace, where things move fast from idea to impact\n\nAre endlessly curious: always seeking feedback and unafraid to give it to anyone when it helps the work move forward\n\nGet energy from a driven, supportive team\n\nYou might prefer somewhere else if you:\nAre looking for a slower, more predictable pace\n\nPrefer roles where the scope stays fixed and clearly defined\n\nPrefer working fixed hours and a set schedule\n\nWhat you'll do\nSolving grower problems as an embedded operator:\nSpend significant time on-site (more than 50% of your week), diagnosing problems in the grower's operation and data, not only in the product.\n\nSpeak the grower's language and earn trust in the greenhouse by consistently delivering on your promises.\n\nSolve first through Source's existing products; where they fall short, build lightweight custom solutions, dashboards, scripts, or simple tools as a temporary bridge until Product can productize it.\n\nUse modern AI tools (such as Claude) to build faster and automate the repetitive parts of your work.\n\nProvide fast, high-quality support that resolves issues before they erode confidence.\n\nDriving adoption and value in the greenhouse:\nAct as the customer expert: understand each grower's crop strategy, operational reality, and success criteria, and tailor Source to them.\n\nOwn the onboarding journey so growers reach value quickly and keep gaining it every crop cycle.\n\nConnect Source's forecasts, crop plans, and autonomous tools to the real decisions a grower makes each week.\n\nTrack adoption and value metrics and step in early when adoption slips.\n\nGrow and support customer champions, and feed grower-level insights and expansion to the rest of the organization.\n\nTurning greenhouse insights into a better product:\nCapture grower pain points and translate them into clear, prioritized feedback for Product.\n\nCo-develop and prototype solutions together with growers, so what we build reflects how they actually work.\n\nScaling yourself and the team:\nAutomate repeat journeys (onboarding nudges, health checks, reporting) so your time goes to the work that matters.\n\nBuild dashboards and tools to monitor adoption and value across your portfolio.\n\nKeep raising your own productivity as tools evolve, and document what works so the whole team can compound\n\nThis role reports to the General Manager, North America.\nRequirements\nThe essentials:\nDeep growing and greenhouse knowledge: As an (ex-)grower or someone in a grower-facing technical role at a vendor, breeder, or supplier. This is the foundation of the role.\n\nBased in the Leamington, Ontario area: You live there or within a few hours' drive max, and you're comfortable on the road more than 50% of the time across North American customer sites.\n\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the industry.\n\nEverything else that makes you a fit:\nStrong analytical and data-driven mindset: Comfortable with data, KPIs, and analytics. Not afraid to run a few data queries or quickly build some pivot tables.\n\nAlready a hands-on builder: You build things yourself today (scripts, dashboards, spreadsheets turned into tools, or other practical solutions). It doesn't have to be AI-based, and you don't need a formal software or engineering background, but you're technical enough to build and eager to use AI tools to build more.\n\nAdaptable, not dogmatic: You hold strong opinions loosely and adjust to each grower's reality instead of imposing a single method. You win growers over; you don't lecture them.\n\nDeeply customer-obsessed, with an ownership mindset: If something is broken for the grower, you feel it, and you fix it.\n\nExtreme curiosity and continuously questioning the status quo: Never done learning, and eager to adopt new tools early to 2x personal productivity every six months.\n\nExcellent communicator and relationship builder who thrives in grower-facing interactions.\n\nOur interview process\nWe keep it personal and open, so you always know what to expect. And it goes both ways: every step is your chance to ask questions and see if Source is right for you.\nFirst interview (30 min, online) - A chat with our People & Culture team to get to know each other and see if there's a good fit from both sides.\n\nSecond interview (45 to 60 min, online) - A deeper talk with the hiring manager about the team you'd join and how you'd fit in.\n\nThird interview (60 to 90 min, usually in person) - Often a follow-up on a take-home assignment, plus a chance to meet a few people from Source.\n\nFinal interview (with one of our founders) - A conversation about Source's mission and how you'd fit into the bigger picture.\n\nA note on AI: During your interviews, we use an AI note-taker, so we can be fully present with you rather than typing.
