From vision to execution, we empower owners, designers, and vendors to move faster, collaborate smarter, and unlock better outcomes at scale.\nOur work is grounded in the belief that enduring spaces start with empowered teams-and that intelligent infrastructure can transform how an entire industry operates. This isn’t about digitizing workflows. It’s about reengineering the system with clarity, transparency, and trust at its core.\nIf you’re energized by complexity, motivated by purpose, and ready to help shape the future of the built environment-we’d love to build it with you.\nThe Role\nSource is looking for a General Manager to lead Project Dynamics, Source's recent acquisition, as its primary executive and full P&L owner. This role reports to the CEO on an interim basis while the permanent reporting structure is finalized.\nYou'll be accountable for every function of the business, including revenue, cash flow, expenses, client relationships, and daily operations. You'll also own the deal thesis, turning the revenue, cost, and timeline assumptions behind the acquisition into real results starting the day the deal closes.\nYou won't be starting from scratch. You'll inherit a strong project management team, a healthy business development pipeline driven by a tenured sales lead, and two founding owners who are invested in making this transition a success. Your job is to protect what makes Project Dynamics valuable (its people, its clients, and its reputation) while integrating it into Source's platform, systems, and operating model, in close partnership with Sales Leadership, Finance, and Source's corporate functions.\nYour Impact\nFull P&L & Business Ownership\nTake ownership of the Project Dynamics revenue plan from the M&A Lead and drive performance against it, proactively identifying shortfalls and adjusting plans and resources to hit targets\nMonitor the entity's cash position alongside Source Finance and drive the actions needed to resolve any issues or collections that arise\nReview and resolve day-to-day expense and AP issues, keeping business spending aligned with ROI and strategic plans\nRealize every assumption built into the acquisition's deal model, including revenue, cost, and timeline\nGrowth & Go-To-Market\nDrive a primarily sales-led go-to-market by mining the founding owners' existing relationships and leads and supporting the Business Development Manager on outbound, in partnership with Source's sales team\nLead win-back efforts on lost accounts and develop new prospecting pipelines adjacent to Project Dynamics' current client base\nPartner with Source's go-to-market team on clear client communication through the transition, targeting strong client satisfaction and increased volume of work with Source within one year\nKeep account management roles and boundaries clear and aligned with both the deal objectives and the broader Source organization\nCoordinate Project Dynamics' event and marketing presence with Source, including standalone events where they make sense, within the allocated budget\nTeam & Org Structure\nLead the Project Dynamics team, including Project Directors, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and the Business Development Manager\nWork alongside the founding owners, who remain in their current reporting structure and stay closely involved through a gradual handoff\nPartner with Source's functional leaders in Sales, Purchasing, and Operations & HR, who own training and standards for the Project Dynamics team, while hiring and day-to-day execution stay within the entity\nMake sure the entity uses Source's centralized marketing, legal, insurance, and corporate accounting functions rather than duplicating them\nPartner with Source Finance, which owns project and operational accounting and reports to you for executive review rather than sitting on your team\nIntegration Execution & Continuity\nHold the plan steady from close through full integration; this is a continuity and execution role, not a one-time relationship transfer\nSteward the \"Project Dynamics, a Source Company\" identity, preserving the name, client relationships, and reputation the team has built as it transitions into Source\nRetain critical talent and preserve what clients value, owning role assignments and retention plans under Source's leveling framework while gradually aligning the team to Source's operating model\nPartner with Finance, Operations, and Product to move Project Dynamics onto Source's systems, making sure the team is trained and supported through each cutover\nLead with low-friction wins like new tools and training, and pace the harder structural and cultural changes so client continuity and revenue are never put at risk\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Role\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience\nPrior experience as a GM, Principal, Sales Leader, or Purchasing Director; multi-line sales or rep experience combined with a purchasing background is a strong fit\nStrong commercial and sales instincts paired with solid financial understanding\nProven ability to manage toward growth targets and OKRs while driving deal-level strategy and execution post-close\nPeople leadership and change management skills, with the ability to lead a team through organizational restructuring and systems transitions\nExceptional cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex internal project teams and influence C-suite stakeholders\nA track record of proactively building strong cross-functional relationships at all levels, recognizing where two functions need close alignment and taking the initiative to connect them\nWorking understanding of purchase agreements and accounting mechanics, and comfort partnering closely with Finance and Legal to build this fluency on the job\nAbility to operate effectively without having shaped the original deal assumptions, partnering closely with the deal team from day one to gain full context and continuity\nWhy You’ll Love Working at Source\nInnovative Work - Be part of an AI native tech platform transforming the construction industry.\nCareer Growth - Work with an ambitious, high-performing team that values professional development.\nRemote Flexibility - Fully remote position with collaborative, tech-enabled workflows.\nCollaborative Culture - Join a company that values teamwork, respect, and transparent communication.\nCompetitive Compensation & Benefits - Market-leading salary, equity, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including employer-paid health insurance, professional development support, and flexible PTO.\nOur Core Values\nAt Source, we believe in…\nSolving hard problems by untangling complexity, thinking in systems, and defaulting to ownership.\nEmbracing change by valuing progress over perfection, evolving together, and leading for the long-term.\nCreating delight by getting curious before we get clever, sweating the details, and everyone carrying the culture.\nElevating strategy through execution by valuing clarity over ego, by being fast because speed is a trust signal, and by being leaders that build bridges not walls.\nInnovating and thinking big by being unbound by consensus, having safety nets that fuel innovation, and being antifragile.\nWhat to Expect in the Hiring Process\nStep 1: Introductory Call\nStep 2: Interview with our CEO\nStep 3: Meet the Founding Owners of Project Dynamics\nStep 4: Business & P&L Deep Dive\nStep 5: Commercial & Growth Panel\nStep 6: Final Onsite in Las Vegas, NV\nStep 7: References & Offer\nCompensation Statement\nSource carefully evaluates multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, education, and training.\nThe minimum salary for the General Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions position is $170,000 annually and the maximum salary is $205,000 annually. The actual compensation offered to a successful candidate will be based on these factors and may vary accordingly.\nIn addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation in the form of a performance-based bonus, calculated as a percentage of base salary and tied to individual and business performance. Successful candidates may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and other incentives based on individual and company performance in alignment with Source’s applicable compensation and benefits programs.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nSource is an equal opportunity employer. We believe that diverse perspectives and inclusive environments drive innovation, creativity, and success, and we are dedicated to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified applicants, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, age, marital status, disability, veteran status, political affiliation, or any other status protected by applicable law.\nCandidate Accommodations\nSource values the unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of all current and prospective employees. We recognize that every individual contributes to our success, and we are committed to ensuring an inclusive and accessible hiring process.\nSource provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities in the job application and recruitment process. If you require assistance due to a disability, please contact us at or (971)271-6905 to request accommodations.\nWork Authorization\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Source does not provide employment visa sponsorship at this time.","description_format":"text","description_chars":9903,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Equity","Health insurance","Professional development"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-12T21:28:28Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"adverts_offering_sponsorship_24m":0,"sanctioned_now":false,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 1","filings_12m":1,"filings_prev_12m":0,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":92500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-11-07T07:57:00+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":33,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.439,"p_room":0.75,"age_days":25,"expected_fill_days":27,"reasons":["conf:3","agency","win:late"],"computed_at":"2026-11-07T05:47:08Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":205000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/source-general-manager-mergers-acquisitions","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/source-general-manager-mergers-acquisitions.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-07T21:30:40Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":34808,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-08T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":10879},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=10879"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fsource-general-manager-mergers-acquisitions"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fsource-general-manager-mergers-acquisitions"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fsource-general-manager-mergers-acquisitions"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/source-general-manager-mergers-acquisitions\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fsource-general-manager-mergers-acquisitions"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":2391708}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"tothesource.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":2391708},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
