This is a dynamic, high-visibility position where you will lead, mentor, and work alongside a dedicated team of 10 to 20 warehouse professionals.\nYou will oversee daily shipping, receiving, packing, and inventory control activities while ensuring the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at optimizing warehouse floor workflows, and can seamlessly communicate with our diverse workforce.\nLocation: 1402 Carriers Dr, Laredo, TX 78045\n Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday, with required overtime and occasional Saturdays as business needs demand)\nLanguage Requirement: Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strictly required.\nResponsibilities:\n1402 Carriers Dr, Laredo, TX 78045\n8am to 5pm plus needed overtime and some Saturdays during the year.\nBILINGUAL IN SPANISH IS A MUST\nSupervises all shipping, receiving, and packing room activities performed by warehouse crew; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor throughout the shift.\nEstablishes and maintains department standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy.\nReviews, prioritizes, and organizes all orders to be picked and/or shipping during shift.\nSchedules equipment maintenance as required in breakdown situations.\nManages all receiving and shipping office paper flow.\nReviews and approves all vendor invoices; researches vendor invoicing problems related to warehouse receiving activities.\nForecasts crewing needs to meet peak demands of the business and staff team accordingly; trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines crew being supervised; resolves personnel issues.\nCoordinates with the warehouse manager to manage personnel issues including but not limited to vacation approvals, time card approval, daily and weekly overtime, hiring, and training.\nLeads crew by example by loading trucks and/or performing other duties as necessary.\nPerforms required administrative tasks; prepares required reports and correspondence.\nOversees receiving personnel in the pick and pack of orders.\nAssists warehouse manager with development and implementation of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by crew.\nAssists with inventory activities; supervises inventory control process including but not limited to check-in/check-out, settlement, and inventory reconciliation.\nOversees the sanitation activities performed in the warehouse.\nResolves warehouse-related issues with representatives from other department throughout the company.\nMaintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.\nMaintains safety programs and all required safety training for the crew.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned by management.\nDirectly supervises 10-20 employees within the warehouse department.\nCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.\nResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. ·\nRequirements:\nMinimum 5 year experience in the warehousing industry\nExperience supervising employees\nBilingual in English and Spanish is a MUST\nOvertime require, some Saturdays during the year.\nSalary range for this role is:\n$55,000—$62,000 USD\nBenefits\nSource Logistics offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, wellbeing, and financial security of our employees.
