With innovation, quality and logistics as the backbone of the company, Sourceability’s cutting-edge products and services expedite the procurement process across a wide range of industries, including communications/cellular, consumer electronics, and auto manufacturing.\nWe are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to become a vital part of our vibrant Sales team, working across the APAC region.\nYou will play a crucial role in the expansion of our customer pipeline, and the speed with which clients and prospects engage with our sales team. This work will be split across all our key business focus areas, and your specified territory and/or specialist vertical. You will own the messaging and delivery to sell Sourceability, not individual products specifically. You will be a senior influence in our organisation and will be expected to conduct your business and yourself in an exemplary manner, providing inspiration and aspirational capabilities to the wider team.\nAs a Business Development Manager, you’ll be comfortable working in focused business areas and developing key strategic approaches in partnership with various internal stakeholders. Travel will be a large part of this role, and you will be an experienced national and international traveller. Your experience will allow you to take a balanced, mature approach to collaborate with customers for long term partnership based on trust and mutual benefit. Sourceability is committed to a culture where we attract the best talent in the industry.\n\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\nProven track record of achieving profitable growth that outperforms the market.\nDeep knowledge and experience within the specific territory or vertical market, allowing for strategic insight.\nA broad and active network that can be quickly leveraged to drive business and expand the customer base in your territory.\nConfidence and ease in communicating with individuals at all organizational levels, including senior leadership (C-suite).\nHighly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.\nExperience building and maintaining clean, organized CRM pipelines and creating strategic plans for business growth.\nAbility to quickly grasp new information and align solutions with customer needs to drive success.\nCommitment to work-life balance, with flexibility to manage both professional and personal responsibilities.\n\nRequirements and Qualifications:\n\nExtensive experience in Franchised Distribution, Independent Distribution, Supplier sales in high-reliability industries, or a combination of these fields.\nA valid driving license is required for this role due to the need for local business travel.\nPossession of a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally as needed.\nA strong understanding of testing and quality practices commonly used in the electronic components industry.\nProven experience working remotely and successfully delivering results.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in business English and the relevant local language(s) as required for the region.\nStrong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to various audiences.\nComfort and familiarity with using ERP systems to profile customers and understand their business needs.\nExperience with sales methodologies such as Miller Heimann, Challenger, or Sandler is a plus.\nThis role requires frequent travel (30% or more), including international trips.
