As an Excess Buyer you will play a crucial role in the Purchasing team, reaching out to potential vendors and bringing excess inventory opportunities to our worldwide Sales Team. \nOur goal is to have a sophisticated team equipped with expert technical skills in addition to keen business acumen. Sourceability is committed to a culture where we attract the best talent in the industry. \nInsight on your impact:\nDevelop and grow a strong pipeline of excess inventory suppliers (OEMs, EMS, distributors) within the assigned region. \nProactively prospect new vendors through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events. \nBuild and maintain long-term strategic relationships with suppliers to secure consistent deal flow. \nSource, negotiate pricing, and purchase electronic and mechanical components in line with company margin targets. \nAct as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring strong communication and follow-up. \nMaintain and update all supplier, contact, and deal information in the ERP/CRM system. \nDrive account growth in terms of revenue, gross profit, and engagement level. \nIdentify and execute speculative buys aligned with confirmed or forecasted customer demand (shortage, EOL, and LTB opportunities). \nCollaborate closely with Sales to match inventory with active demand. \nReview excess BOMs to identify cost reduction opportunities and margin expansion. \nAnalyze market trends to identify high-value parts, constrained components, and premium brands. \nEvaluate product applications to expand resale opportunities across multiple customers and industries. \nManage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements in compliance with company policies. \nMaintain accurate records of goods ordered, received, and in transit. \nProvide regular updates on pipeline, deals, and vendor activity to management. \nYour qualifications, your influence:\nTo be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills \n2-4 years of experience in procurement, excess inventory, or semiconductor distribution. \nUnderstanding of the electronics supply chain (OEM, EMS, distribution). \nAbility in vendor prospecting and relationship development. \nCommercial mindset with strong negotiation and closing skills. \nAdvanced Excel skills (analysis, pricing, data handling). \nExcellent communication skills (written and verbal English required). \nSelf-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment. \nPreferred skills and technical familiarity:\nAdding additional insight, and a growth mindset, will elevate your contribution in this role \nExisting network
