You'll negotiate with OEM and OCM suppliers on price, quantity, delivery schedules and exclusive deals, place and follow up purchase orders, and grow our supplier base by prospecting new OEMs and OCMs while managing existing relationships. Sourceability is committed to a culture where we attract the best talent in the industry. \nInsight on your impact:\nProcure electronic components in line with our supply chain strategy and company policies. \nNegotiate with suppliers on pricing, quantities, delivery schedules and exclusive deals. \nBuild and manage supplier relationships across the UK market. \nManage excess inventory lists, expand the supplier base, and work with sales to help OEMs and OCMs reduce their excess inventory. \nDrive strategic sourcing based on part commodities and OEM/OCM applications. \nQualify new suppliers and keep supplier profiles and CRM records accurate. \nMonitor supplier on-time delivery and ratings. \nJoin weekly calls with sales to share feedback and drive improvement. \nCover VRFQs and RFQs using internal and external tools, and keep VQs updated. \nPlace and follow up purchase orders, and resolve quality issues and discrepancies. \nWork in Sourceability's ERP and supply chain systems. \nAttend trade fairs, team meetings and company events, with occasional travel. \nYour qualifications, your influence:\nTo be successful in the role, you must possess the following skills \nNative-level fluency in English, written and spoken. \nStrong negotiation skills, with a track record of securing cost savings and building supplier relationships. \nClear written and verbal communication with internal teams and global suppliers. \nStrong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail. \nAble to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. \nProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. \nUniversity degree in any field. \nPreferred skills and technical familiarity:\nAdding additional insight, and a growth mindset, will elevate your contribution in this role \nExperience in the electronic components industry or a procurement role.
