tax-related accounting activities and documentation.\nReview financial information and tax documents for accuracy and completeness.\nAssist with gathering, organizing, and validating information required for tax preparation.\nIdentify discrepancies, missing information, or potential issues in financial and tax records.\nPerform account reconciliations and support general accounting activities.\nMaintain accurate and organized client and financial records.\nCommunicate with internal teams and clients regarding accounting and tax-related matters.\nFollow established US tax and accounting procedures and deadlines.\nProvide support during tax season and other high-volume periods.\nRequired Qualifications\n2+ years of hands-on US tax and accounting experience.\nPrevious experience working in a US tax department, accounting firm, CPA firm, or similar environment.\nDirect experience with US tax preparation or tax support.\nStrong understanding of US accounting principles and tax concepts.\nExperience preparing, reviewing, or supporting US individual/personal tax returns is strongly preferred.\nAbility to analyze financial and tax information and identify discrepancies.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and meet deadlines.\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills.\nExperience with accounting or tax software is preferred.\nIdeal Candidate\nThe ideal candidate is not only an accountant or bookkeeper but someone who has practical experience working with US tax matters.\nCandidates with experience in a US accounting/tax firm, particularly those who have worked directly with US individual tax returns, will be prioritized.\nScreening
