As part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the Accounts Payable Officer plays a critical part in delivering reliable financial operations that support business growth and operational excellence.\nJOB DETAILS\nWork from home \nMonday to Friday | 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM Manila Time \nWill Follow AU Holidays \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nInvoice Processing via AP Automation: Accurately process supplier invoices using our AP automation platform, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with internal controls. \nNon-PO Invoice Coding: Review and code non-purchase order invoices to the correct general ledger accounts, ensuring alignment with budget and cost centre allocations. \nMonthly Accrual Journals: Prepare and post monthly accrual journals for unreceived invoices and other AP-related accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting. \nPayment Execution: Prepare and execute scheduled payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all transactions. \nSupplier Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly. \nExpense Management: Review and process employee expense claims in accordance with company policy. \nSystem Optimisation: Identify opportunities to enhance and expand automation within the AP function, working closely with IT and Finance to implement improvements. \nData Integrity and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all AP transactions. \nVendor Relations: Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve queries and maintain strong working relationships. \nCompliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal policies; support month-end close and reporting activities. \nProcess Improvement: Champion initiatives to streamline AP workflows, reduce manual tasks, \nQUALIFICATIONS:\nProven experience in end-to-end accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, and accruals. \nPrior experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment, with an understanding of supplier dynamics, cost control, and operational urgency. \nHands-on experience with AP automation tools, preferably with OCR capabilities or similar platforms, with a strong understanding of automated invoice workflows. \nWorking knowledge of Infor M3 ERP or similar enterprise systems, with confidence navigating financial modules and coding transactions. \nExperience coding non-PO invoices to the general ledger, with a solid grasp of cost centre and account structures. \nAbility to prepare and post monthly accrual journals and support financial close activities. \nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis;
