The successful candidate will communicate directly with customers, airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, and hauliers while proactively managing shipment updates, exceptions, and delays.\nThe ideal candidate has genuine freight forwarding experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to independently manage air freight import shipments from start to finish.\nJob Details:\nWork set up:Work-from-Home\n\nSchedule:Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM UK Time |3:30 PM to 12:30 AM Manila Time\n\nHoliday:Will follow UK holidays\n\nResponsibilities:\nHandle day-to-day air freight import operations. \nManage shipments from pre-alert through customs clearance and final delivery. \nReceive and review shipment pre-alerts and ensure all required documentation is complete. \nFollow up with overseas agents and suppliers for missing or incomplete documentation. \nCoordinate customs clearance, airline collections, haulage, and final delivery arrangements. \nCommunicate directly with customers by phone and email regarding shipment status, delivery arrangements, and enquiries. \nLiaise with airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, hauliers, and other suppliers. \nPrepare and check shipping and customs documentation as required. \nProvide accurate and competitive quotations to customers and partner agents. \nProactively monitor shipments and provide regular customer updates throughout the shipment lifecycle. \nTake ownership of service issues, exceptions, and delays and resolve them where possible. \nMaintain accurate shipment and customer records within the transport management system. \nBuild strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and international partners. \nProvide a high level of customer service and represent the business professionally at all times. \nQualifications:\nMinimum 4 years of experience in air freight forwarding operations. \nMust have genuine experience working within a freight forwarding company. \nStrong experience in air freight imports and managing shipments from start to finish. \nSolid understanding of air freight operations, including airline routings, shipping documentation, customs processes, and delivery coordination. \nExcellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to communicate directly with customers and suppliers by phone and email. \nStrong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to work independently, take ownership, and make sound operational decisions. \nAbility to manage exceptions, delays, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. \nStrong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly. \nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. \nCargoWise experience is strongly preferred and will be a significant advantage.\nExperience supporting UK freight forwarding operations or UK customers is preferred. \nExperience managing the full freight forwarding process, rather than only one part of the shipment lifecycle, is highly
