The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and project teams to develop accurate designs, drawings, models, and technical documentation for projects including land development, transport, drainage, subdivisions, industrial, and commercial developments. This role plays an important part in ensuring technical quality, efficient project delivery, and continuous improvement of design and drafting practices across the business.\nJob Details\nWork Setup:Work-from-home\n\n Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Philippine Time (Must be comfortable working with Australian time zones and adjusting schedules when required)\n\nHolidays: To be confirmed\nResponsibilities\nPreparing civil engineering designs, drawings, models and technical documentation for infrastructure projects - including roads and highways, footpaths and accessways, earthworks and grading, stormwater drainage (piped, overland and attenuation), water and sewer reticulation, car parks, building corridors, subdivisions, and industrial and commercial developments.\nDevelop concept, preliminary, and detailed civil designs, including supporting calculations, layouts, and technical reports.\nProducing accurate drawings and models using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD\nEnsuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards and client requirements\nCoordinating civil designs with other disciplines and monitoring progress against design programs.\nAssisting the civil team to deliver projects on time and within budget, identifying risks and proposing practical solutions.\nSupport quality outcomes through accurate documentation, design checks, document control, and timely responses to project requirements.\nContribute to continuous improvement of design processes, workflows, and project delivery practices.\nQualifications & Experience\nEssential Requirements\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in civil infrastructure design and drafting.\nProficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D or 12D Model.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality documentation.\nAbility to interpret engineering sketches, mark-ups and design instructions, and to prepare design calculations, layouts and technical reports.\nGood understanding of civil design principles across roads, earthworks, drainage, and reticulation.\nExperience coordinating civil designs with other disciplines.\nStrong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.\nStrong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience supporting the Australian civil engineering or infrastructure consulting market (advantageous but not required).\nExperience with BIM coordination, quality assurance processes, or design workflows.\nExperience using additional platforms such as GIS, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar platforms.\nCertificate or tertiary qualification in civil engineering, drafting, design, or a related discipline.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3317,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Philippines","iso":"PH","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Professional Services","Recruiting & Staffing","Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)","Call Center Services"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T10:12:21Z"}],"liveness":{"score":90,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.903,"p_room":1,"age_days":2,"expected_fill_days":31,"reasons":["conf:0","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-09-28T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/sourcefit-civil-designer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/sourcefit-civil-designer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-28T05:53:42Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4099,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":901,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-09-29T00:00:00Z"}}}
