Serve as a primary accounting contact for assigned properties, resolve routine exceptions, and escalate complex, sensitive, or policy-related matters to the Senior Manager.\nJob Details\nWork Setup: Work from home \nShift/Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time \nHolidays: U.S. corporate holiday calendar \nResponsibilities\nMonitor capital projects, commitments, invoices, approvals, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow movements for assigned properties. \nMaintain construction-in-progress and fixed-asset records, including project closeout, capitalization and in-service dates, asset classifications and useful lives, depreciation, transfers, retirements, disposals, write-offs, and reconciliations of fixed-asset and capital expenditure general ledger accounts. \nPrepare construction and capital expenditure reports, investigate variances, and record adjusting and job-cost entries when required. \nReview capital expenditure invoices, purchase asset requests and project changes against established controls and supporting documentation. \nCoordinate with hotel, operations, project management and finance stakeholders regarding capital projects, reconciliations and reporting. \nPrepare capital-call and owner reimbursement packages and reconcile associated accounts for portfolios assigned these activities. \nFor designated assignments, support insurance premiums and claims-related reconciliations, recoveries, lease tracking and reconciliation, right-of-use asset and lease liability schedules, and fleet administration.
