Its data team relies on accurate, high-performing data to power reporting and analytics across the organization.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for an experienced SQL Developer to design, write, and tune complex queries and to build and maintain the ETL pipelines that feed the enterprise data warehouse. You will work with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to make sure data is accurate, performs well, and is ready for reporting and analytics.\nKey Responsibilities\nWrite complex, efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.\n\nTurn business requirements into well-structured, maintainable SQL logic.\n\nBuild data extracts and datasets for reporting and analytics.\n\nAnalyze execution plans to find and fix performance bottlenecks.\n\nRecommend and implement performance optimizations such as query rewriting, caching, and materialized views.\n\nMonitor database performance and fix issues before they affect users.\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that move data from source systems or S3 into the warehouse.\n\nBuild in data quality checks, validation, and error handling.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures and data discrepancies.\n\nDocument data flows, mappings, transformations, and technical designs.\n\nWork with analysts and business users to clarify requirements, and take part in code reviews.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n3+ years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, subqueries, aggregations).\n\nProven experience optimizing SQL queries and tuning database performance, including reading and interpreting execution plans.\n\n3+ years of experience developing ETL processes for a data warehouse.\n\nExperience with at least one cloud-hosted data warehouse, preferably Snowflake or Databricks.\n\nExperience with at least one ETL tool or framework such as Databricks, Informatica, Talend, AWS Glue, or similar.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work independently with little supervision and strong attention to detail.\n\nClear written and verbal communication in English.\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\nNice to Have\nPower BI (DAX, Power Query/M, data modeling) or Tableau (calculated fields, LOD expressions, Server/Cloud publishing).\n\nAmazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Databricks.\n\nPython for automation and data processing; Spark/PySpark.\n\nDimensional modeling (star and snowflake schemas) and data warehousing concepts (Kimball/Inmon).\n\nGit/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines for database and ETL deployments, and job scheduling/orchestration.\n\nOur Team\nWe strive to create an inspiring and growth-oriented environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered.
