Join our team today.\nExeter, Devon | Hybrid Working Available\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join us at a pivotal time as we transform how we use data to improve environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and operational decision-making.\nWe're looking for a talented Data Analytics Manager to lead the development of data-driven insights across our wastewater operations.\nWith increasing volumes of monitoring data and evolving regulatory requirements, you'll play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, building analytical capability, and helping the business make informed decisions that improve environmental outcomes.\nThis is a highly visible role, working with senior stakeholders across the organisation and influencing strategic decision-making through robust analysis and clear communication.\nWhat you'll be doing:Lead the production and submission of accurate, timely regulatory data and reports.\n\nOversee data extraction, transformation and quality assurance processes across multiple systems.\n\nDevelop analytical models, dashboards, forecasting tools and performance reporting frameworks.\n\nTranslate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations for operational and senior leadership teams.\n\nIdentify emerging risks, opportunities and trends to support proactive business decisions.\n\nChampion best practice in data governance, management and compliance.\n\nCollaborate closely with GIS, Asset Data, Operational and IT teams to improve data accessibility and usability.\n\nRepresent South West Water in discussions with regulators, industry bodies and external stakeholders.\n\nWhat we're looking for:Degree qualification in Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or a related discipline.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with complex datasets.\n\nAbility to communicate technical findings clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.\n\nExperience developing reports, analytical tools, dashboards and performance metrics.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills.\n\nDesirableExperience within the water, utilities, environmental or regulated sectors.\n\nKnowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.\n\nFull UK Driving Licence.\n\nWhy Join Us?This is more than a data role.
