Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night.\nCandidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.\n\nAs a Graduate Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing your technical, professional and personal capabilities through a structured two-year programme, progressively building the skills and confidence to succeed as a Process Engineer. This role is not specific to any production area. Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:\nCollaborate across technical, production and maintenance teams to coordinate plant priorities. \nMonitor process control parameters to support product quality and minimise production losses. \nReview plant performance and maintenance requirements to identify hazards and improvement opportunities. \nContribute to practical solutions that improve plant reliability, asset care and operational outcomes.\nABOUT YOU\nYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:\nBuilding positive relationships and contributing effectively within diverse, collaborative teams. \nApplying analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to technical challenges. \nCommunicating information, priorities and recommendations clearly to different audiences. \nDemonstrating curiosity, initiative and a genuine commitment to ongoing learning. \nBalancing safety, quality, efficiency and operational requirements when making decisions. \nUsing Microsoft Office tools to analyse information, prepare documentation and share insights.\nQualifications for this position are:\nBachelor’s degree in either Chemical or Process Engineering\nSouth32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
