This is primarily a software development role, with approximately 70% of the focus on development and enhancement and 30% on production support and operational responsibilities, depending on business needs. Developers on our team take ownership of the solutions they build, including troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and supporting applications in production.\nWork across the full technology stack to create intuitive front-end solutions and robust, secure backend services. In this role, you'll collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and Cybersecurity teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software through continuous improvement, innovation, and iterative delivery. Use AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, as part of the software development lifecycle to improve developer productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and learning.\n RESPONSIBILITIES\nEffectively collaborate to appropriately design and deliver portfolio software application\nDevelop and/or implement timely, cost effective, and high-quality solutions using approved methodologies and standards\nProvide root cause analysis, efficient production support and maintenance/enhancements for existing applications (including application debugging and memory leak analysis)\nApply secure coding practices, including authentication and authorization, dependency and vulnerability remediation, protection of sensitive data, and timely resolution of security findings.\nApply professional oral and written communication skills; apply strong customer service skills; exhibit initiative; follow through with customer commitments, and apply sound performance techniques\nBuild and maintain relationships with scrum teams, management, other technology/portfolio/business groups, and vendors\nTroubleshoot and resolve any application and user interface defects \nManage personal career development by maintaining technical expertise\n REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor of Science degree from an accredited college with a concentration in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field. \nAdditional certifications in software development, development tools, and/or user interface development are a plus\nEXPERIENCE\nAdvanced knowledge of the following software development technologies:\nMicrosoft C# and the .NET framework, including .Net Core, Entity Framework & MVC\nDeep experience working with either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle\nUnderstanding of service-oriented architecture, web service security and data integration provisioning\nWorking knowledge of user interface design processes/methodology, particularly as applied to web-based applications \nExperience creating responsive web products\nExtensive experience of development technologies, methodologies and associated tools\nExtensive experience with application architecture\nExperience with CICD/git/Azure DevOps is preferred\nExperience migrating applications from .Net full Framework to .Net Core is a plus\nSkills\nWell-versed in full-life cycle development methods and techniques including Agile/Scrum, RAD development approaches and best practices\nStrong Web application coding skills, including information architecture, interface design and visual design would be a plus\nResults-oriented, product focused excellent ability to work cross functionally\nBe a collaborative and dependable teammate who communicates openly, seeks and provides constructive feedback, helps others solve problems, follows through on commitments, and contributes to shared team outcomes. \nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting,
