You'll be part of a high-performing, values-driven team where people are at the heart of everything we do -- and in return for your talent, you'll have the opportunity to grow, make an impact, and be proud of the difference your work makes.\nAbout the role\nAs we accelerate our shift to a cloud-first, Azure-based technology estate, we're looking for Azure Cloud Engineers to help maintain a resilient, cost-effective and continuously improving cloud infrastructure.\nThis role plays a key part in our insourcing strategy - strengthening internal capability and supporting future cloud initiatives.\nAlso hiring: Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer\nThe Opportunity\nThis is a hands-on Senior role where you’ll combine cloud engineering with design, technical ownership, and continuous improvement.\nReporting to the Infrastructure Platforms Lead, you’ll design & implement scalable, secure & highly available cloud solutions, while ensuring our Azure infrastructure performs reliably & cost-effectively.\nYou’ll collaborate on new platform capabilities & infrastructure improvements, with a strong focus on automation, self-service & standardisation.\nYou’ll also take ownership of troubleshooting complex platform issues, root cause analysis & implementing sustainable fixes.\nBeyond delivery, you’ll help shape engineering patterns, influence how our cloud platforms evolve & support the growth of other engineers across the team.\nWhat you'll do\nDesign, build & improve Azure cloud infrastructure \nTake cloud solutions from design through to delivery \nBuild reusable Terraform/IaC modules, automation & deployment patterns \nImprove self-service & standardisation, reducing manual work \nKeep our platforms secure, resilient, reliable & cost-effective \nTroubleshoot complex issues, get to the root cause & put lasting fixes in place \nHelp shape engineering standards & better ways of working \nMentor other engineers & share your technical knowledge \nWhat you'll bring\nWe’re looking for someone who has already built a strong career in hands-on cloud engineering, rather than someone looking to make their first move into cloud at Senior level.\nYou’ll ideally bring:\nStrong hands-on Azure cloud/infrastructure engineering experience \nExperience designing & delivering complex cloud infrastructure solutions \nStrong Terraform / IaC capability, including reusable modules \nExperience with Azure Landing Zones, ideally including design rather than solely operating within an established environment \nAutomation, scripting & CI/CD experience \nExperience across cloud security, identity, governance, resilience & operational practices \nExperience working across Azure cloud & hybrid environments \nStrong troubleshooting, monitoring, incident & problem-management capability \nThe ability to explain technical decisions & trade-offs clearly \nExperience influencing engineering practices & supporting adoption across teams \nA collaborative approach with experience mentoring or developing other engineers\nKnow a great Azure Engineer?\nYep, we’re hiring at that level too!So send them our way.
