This includes the current portions of the CLICK system and all related applications as well as the EnRoute application suite and related components in field vehicles. It is expected that this resource is a subject matter expert with deep technical knowledge within the Field Technology area. This role will complete projects which will include standard development using a variety of languages, web-based technologies, cognitive services, integration technologies, and native mobile applications.\nThis role reports to the Supv, IT (Mobile, Rolling Office).\nDevelopment II, Application - Essential Duties Include \nDevelop solutions that leverage (when COTS system) rather than customization.\nCreate and modify Technical Design documents. \nCollaborate with others to plan for coding and overall program development.\nTranslate specifications to create code that meets performance expectations/coding requirements.\nModify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance based on specifications, with supervision.\nTroubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software.\nPlan and participate in system testing as required. \nDevelop technology solutions/doc for complex problems using deep technical expertise and creativity. \nPlan and participate in deployment activities to implement designed solutions. \nMaintain and follow production support processes focused on identification and mitigation of root cause.\nFlex to meet customer demands (production support and project work).\nPrioritize work and deliver on project commitments.\nProvide on-call support both solving issues independently as well as assisting other personnel \nSupport and mentor less experienced personnel.\nConsiderable interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively is essential.\nEnsure strategies are aligned with Technology Organization goals and strategies. \nSkills/Experience\nBachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or a related field \nA deep, comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and development principles\nInterest in and passion for learning and working in a fast-paced environment\nHands-on experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Microsoft technologies like .NET, C#, and SQL\nExperience with frontend development platforms like Angular and React\nExperience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines\nAbility to handle multiple assignments and conflicting priorities \nAbility to work with business partners and peers of varying levels of technical proficiency \nExperience with all size projects, enhancement projects and production support \nExperience with various sized projects, enhancement projects and production support\nAbility to identify root cause for routine problems while working with other technical staff\nDeep experience creating Technical Design Documents and Specifications\nDeep experience with software development projects.\nAbility to develop unit testing of code components or complete applications.\nExperience in system development practices, methodology and tools \nExperience with Agile delivery;
