This role will work in a team environment as well as have individual assignments. This role will be required to certify after a designated training period and will become enrolled into the union after 30 days.\nStarting Hourly Salary: $32.74\nSOME BASIC TASKS SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:\nOperate facilities in a safe and efficient manner to meet production/throughput requirements, including starting and stopping of reciprocating and centrifugal engines and compressors.\nRepair liquid centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps.\nProperly, legibly and accurately record all equipment and operational data as required.\nInspect, repair, adjust and reset pressure regulators, relief valves, level controllers and shutdown devices on rotating equipment as needed.\nRoutinely inspect, operate and grease pumps, valves, motors and bearings as needed.\nRepair or replacement of electric motors, shafts, and bearings in overhead cooler fans and in pumps.\nAssist in the repair of equipment such as regulators, valves, pumps, gauges, filters, cooler fans, air compressors, air dryers, gas compressors, etc. as determined by physical inspections or scheduled preventative maintenance.\nComply with Company, State, and Federal safety and environmental regulations.\nPerform welding and cutting work or any other work necessary in the maintenance of equipment and facilities.\nPerform pipe fitting, plumbing, ditching work necessary in the installation or repairs of pipelines.\nReplace filter elements as required.\nOperate and maintain valves and valve operators of various types and sizes throughout plant.\nAccept changes in work schedule, available for shift work, subject to callouts as required for operations, including short notice/no notice overtime and extended shift coverage. This includes working alone at times or in a team setting.\nPerforms various duties to maintain the Company’s buildings, facilities, equipment, and rights-of-way, for neat and orderly appearances. (Examples include mowing, weed-trimming, cleaning compressors & building, cleaning & routine service of vehicles and lawn equipment, janitorial maintenance of office).\nSafely and effectively work to accomplish assigned tasks in a timely manner, including the operation of forklifts, aerial platforms, etc…\nPerform asset inspections, including painting and applying protective coatings.\nObtain and document surface wellhead pressures and flows as assigned.\nChange surface equipment pressure and flow recording charts as assigned.\nPlace surface wellhead equipment online or offline.\nConduct Transmission City Gate Regulating Station inspections, including changing pressure and flow recording charts as assigned.\nRecognize AOC’s (Abnormal Operating Conditions) and take appropriate actions.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation, Certifications/Licenses:\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nValid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to obtain a CDL within probationary period prior to final certification, including passing Company driving tests.\nPreferred:\nTechnical degree or certification with operations or equivalent work experience in technical trades such as welding, machinist, equipment mechanic or engineering.\nRelated Work Experience:\nRequired:\nPrevious experience with mechanical systems and operations.\nPreferred:\nPrevious experience with oil and gas operations, petrochemical operations, or technical process operations.\nApplicant may possess a combination of equivalent education and work experience\nSpecific Skills & Knowledge:\nRequired:\nMust be able to read, write and interpret written materials, including understanding drawings, blueprints, charts, etc.\nMust be able to effectively communicate and interpret information in both verbal and written formats.\nMust be able to utilize computers for accomplishing work tasks.\nMust be able to pass classification certification testing and Operator Qualification written and demonstrative tasks.\nPreferred:\nForklift experience.\nAerial platform experience.\nWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements:\nMust be able to work at elevated heights.\nMust be physically able to walk for extended periods, stoop, bend, crawl, walk, climb ladders and lift up to 100 pounds.\nMust be able to utilize hand tools, shovels, brooms, etc…\nMust have a keen sense of smell, hearing, vision and color identification.\nAbility to work in all types of terrain and weather conditions is required.\nWill be required to wear Fire Retardant Clothing and Personnel Protective Equipment.\nThis position is required to work for extended periods of time in varied weather conditions.
