They’ll partner with Technical Operations, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain Management, and other Stakeholders to improve processes, control costs, and ensure materials are available to support operational needs. They’ll serve as the primary liaison for assigned supply chain functions, driving supplier accountability and cross-functional alignment to support operational and business objectives. Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from our Dallas, TX headquarters facility during business hours. \nU.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. required and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available. \nWe’re committed to fair hiring practices and to making employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, age, military or veteran status, disability, genetic information, or other legally protected characteristics.\nResponsibilities\nEnsure ETOPS compliance for aircraft , inventory and Station Operations\nManage the daily Pre Departure Service Check (PDSC) reconciliation\nResponsible liaison and functional support to support the organization including ,but not limited to Supply Chain, Quality, Production , Fleet Appearance and Station Operations\nMonitor daily aircraft schedule and movements\nAct as the primary contact for MOC/AOG Support for any out of service aircraft and provides direction to local operations team to status and address out of service aircraft\nRegional responsibility for the compliance of the SWA Maintenance Procedure Manual and FAA guidelines pertaining to SWA Production and Supply Chain\nProvide guidance and direction to contingent personnel including, but not limited to OCMP and Materials and ensure that proper compliance of Southwest policies and procedures\nManagement and accountability of inventory assets including, but not limited to inventory, tooling, and services\nEnsure proper execution of audits, accountability of inventory transactions, and managing the subcontractors\nMay perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources\nKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance\nKnowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits\nSkilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems\nSkilled in understanding and applying information to contribute to the organizations strategic plan\nAbility to generate or use different sets of rules for combining or grouping things in different ways\nAbility to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense\nEducation\nRequired: High School Diploma or GED\nExperience\nAdvanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance or Quality Operations\n\nPreferred: Working knowledge of accounting, financial, demand, and supply planning principles, including SIOP, IBP, and inventory optimization, with the ability to bridge Supply Chain Management, Finance, and Accounting\nPreferred: Experience leveraging operational, supply chain, and financial data to support forecasting, budgeting, cost management, performance reporting, and business decisions\nPreferred: Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions, drive alignment across multiple functional organizations, and lead without direct authority\nPreferred: Aviation, maintenance, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive industry experience; familiarity with maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environments is a plus\nPreferred: Proficiency with data visualization, reporting, and data transformation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, Redshift, or similar platforms\nLicensing/Certification\nRequired: SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements\nPhysical Abilities\nAbility to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time\nAbility to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job\nAbility to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job\nOther Qualifications\nMust maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines\nMust be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986\nMust be at least 18 years of age\nMust be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines\nMust meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information\nAbility to work flexible hours and meet deadlines successfully, at times with frequent interruptions;
