This is a unique opportunity to contribute to and help shape the next generation of S&P Ratings' analytics platform.\nResponsibilities and Impact:\nPartner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and plan solution delivery.\nCollaborate with data scientists and software engineers to design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning and generative AI solutions.\nAnalyze large datasets and develop data-driven insights to improve business outcomes.\nBuild platforms, services, and tooling to optimize, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning models for performance and scalability.\nResearch and apply emerging AI and machine learning technologies to enhance existing solutions and drive innovation.\nWork closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.\nContribute to the development of best practices, technical standards, and reusable AI capabilities across the organization. \nWhat We're Looking For:\nBasic Required Qualifications:\nExperience building AI, machine learning, or data-driven solutions in cloud environments such as AWS.\nStrong Python programming skills with experience using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.\nHands-on experience developing applications with Java and Spring Boot.\nExperience working with containerized and virtualized environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, and virtual machines.\nFamiliarity with modern AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.\nExperience using version control systems such as Git.\nStrong knowledge of SQL and experience working with structured and unstructured datasets.\nUnderstanding of machine learning concepts, including deep learning, natural language processing, and generative AI.\nExperience building or working with AI agents, autonomous workflows, or agentic AI frameworks. \nAdditional Preferred Qualifications:\nExperience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, ADK, Strands, or similar technologies.\nExperience with graph technologies and graph-based algorithms.\nFamiliarity with front-end technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML, or comparable frameworks.\nExperience in data engineering, data preparation, and feature engineering.\nExperience working with data lakes, AI-ready data platforms, or large-scale data ecosystems.\nExperience building machine learning solutions using distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.\nKnowledge of modern AI-native software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.\nCompensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):\nS&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $149,302 - $202,267. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.\nIn addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
