These include visualisation, risk aggregation and smart data initiatives that address new data, risk and regulatory requirements and are highly visible and strategic within the organisation. FRA also uses successful conventional technologies such as distributed computing based on grids, large data formats such as HDF5, and message queue for both batch and real-time what-if type calculations.\nThese initiatives are using best of breed technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, HDFS, HBase, Cassandra along with in-house developed technologies, and the successful candidate will be working in a fast paced, dynamic team environment, building commercial products which are at the heart of the business.\nThe Client Onboarding, Integration and Support Services team is responsible for delivering our solutions to our clients, from pre-sales through go-live.\nPosition summary:\nThis position is for an Associate level Tokyo-based Consultant running FRA client implementation projects across the APAC region. In addition to the detailed job description below, client relationship management is an important requirement of the role. Ensuring a high level of satisfaction by effective management of client needs is a core part of project management in FRA.\nDuties & accountabilities:\nManage a portfolio of FRA prospects and clients in managing and controlling a wide variety of project activities\nPrepare and execute on senior stakeholder reporting and communication needs\nEffectively communicate overall project status to internal and external stakeholders\nBalance the resourcing schedule for in-progress and planned project work\nProvide an ongoing risk management capability for the business\nPrepare and maintain business case and project initiation materials, including the ongoing project pipeline\nCapture and consolidate project metrics, and implement and leverage KPIs across the group, to assist in ongoing planning and continuous improvement\nPrioritise tasks and effectively manage day to day issues\nCoordinate project and workflow management with financial engineering, design, development and QA teams\nPrepare End Project and Lessons Learned reports to assist in ongoing planning and continuous improvement\nSupport and review the work of other project managers within FRA, in applying best practice and standardized process where appropriate\nSupport and provide holiday cover for other project managers\nBe flexible in dealing with large waterfall, agile, and RAID deliveries as required by the needs of the project in question\nCo-ordinate release window activity between various impacted groups and stakeholders\nSupport FRA sales colleagues with project management expertise as required\nIncludes taking complete ownership of the steps that needs to be taken to deliver daily results to clients\nQuality check input and output data\nTroubleshoot errors and work with internal groups to provide resolution\nRespond to client requests by providing detailed analysis and feedback\nPerform testing to ensure the product in UAT, pre-prod environment emulate the same design setup in the production environment as well\nSupport FRA customers and prospects in local language (Japanese)\nProvide technical support including performance tuning and investigation of technical error for customers\nProvide support to sales and account managers during pre-sales activities\nAbout S&P Global Market Intelligence\nAt S&P Global Market Intelligence, a division of S&P Global we understand the importance of accurate, deep and insightful information.
