The team follows established business procedures and policies designed to protect revenue while delivering excellent customer service.\nThe Impact\nThis role supports the US, Europe, and Canadian time zones, specifically servicing the S&P Dow Jones Indices division, and plays a critical role in maintaining healthy cash flow and client relationships.\nWhat’s In It for You\nBe part of the growing Global Business Services operations in India and gain exposure to a highly diverse, multicultural, and global working environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nActively participate in the collection of outstanding receivables, including collections calls and written communications.\nExperience handling B2B collections across EMEA / US / NAMER regions\nEnforce policies and procedures related to payments, cancellations, and service suspension/termination.\nProvide customer support for refunds, payment methods, discrepancies, tax documentation, payment history, and statements of account.\nMonitor and maintain assigned accounts, including reconciliations and necessary adjustments.\nPartner with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Order Management, and Client Services to resolve issues that may delay payment.\nMaintain accurate customer status updates through account reviews, system notes, and stakeholder meetings.\nEnsure customer contact information is kept current and accurate.\nParticipate in knowledge sharing and provide mutual support across the global Credit and Collections team.\nPerform additional related duties as required.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in any discipline or a related field.\n4-7 years of experience in Collections, Customer Service, or Billing within a B2B environment preferred.\nStrong verbal and written English communication skills; ability to work effectively with global stakeholders.\nExcellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and goal-oriented mindset.\nDemonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nWorking knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel (preferred).\nFlexibility to work shifts aligned with business requirements.\nPreferred / Plus Skills\nKnowledge or experience in data analytics and reporting, including analyzing collections of data, preparing dashboards/reports, and deriving insights to support decision-making and process improvement.\nExperience managing high-value / strategic accounts\nHands-on experience with ERP systems (Salesforce, High Radius, etc.)\nStrong stakeholder management across Finance, Sales, Commercial, and Clients\nExperience handling escalations with professionalism and confidence\nAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)\nWhat’s In It For You?\nOur Mission: \nAdvancing Essential Intelligence.\nOur People:\nWe're more than 35,000 strong worldwide-so we're able to understand nuances while having a broad perspective.
