This program is a dynamic 10-week summer training and development opportunity that begins in June 2027, offering meaningful exposure to credit analysis, collaborative project work, and engagement with experienced professionals across the business.\nYou will support S&P Global's mission of being the leading provider of high-quality risk evaluations and analytical insights to the world's financial markets.\nSummer interns gain a thorough introduction to fundamental credit analysis, working alongside analytical teams within S&P Global Ratings - including in ratings committees and management meetings.\nYou will complete a group project throughout the summer program and have the opportunity to collaborate with peers and present your research and conclusions to a group of senior leaders.\nAt the end of the program, strong performers have the opportunity to be considered for the 2028 CREDit Graduate Program. To learn more about what our CREDit Graduate Program entails, please clickhere for an overview of the program experience. \nResponsibilities:\nTeam Contribution & Capability Building\nSupport the team in deal execution and analytical projects, contributing resourceful ideas in collaborative team discussions.\nWork with assigned summer intern project teams to complete and present research findings and conclusions to senior leaders. \nCore Analytical & Delivery\nBuild capability in credit rating methodologies by learning and applying standard analytical techniques.\nSupport analysts by providing timely and accurate quarterly financial statistics and data analysis.\nHelp maintain high-quality research, presentations, reporting, and financial models.\nUse AI technologies responsibly as an enabler to analyze datasets and derive actionable insights within established analytical frameworks. \nStakeholder & Market Engagement\nAssist with preparing materials for rating committees and issuer management meetings, helping to produce clear, evidence-based narratives for stakeholder engagement.\nDevelop a client-oriented, solutions-focused mindset by observing and learning from service excellence in practice. \nRisk Management and Operating\nApply confidentiality, documentation, and governance requirements consistently throughout the internship.\nSupport supervised piloting and testing of new tools within defined guidelines. \nCompensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates:) S&P Global states that the anticipated salary range for this position is $25 USD to $35 USD per hour. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
