Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD) projects and Gitlab is a plus.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nImplement responsive design principles to ensure applications work on various devices.\nOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.\nTroubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance.\nStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.\nUtilize Gitlab for project management and tracking.\nApply DoD standards and protocols to ensure compliance and security.\nRequired Skills & Experience \nSecret clearance (ability to obtain Secret clearance, i.e. U.S. Citizenship required)\nProven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java, JavaScript (JS), React, and/or Python.\nStrong understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript/ React\nExperience with back-end development, including Python\nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Gitlab.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nExperience with DoD projects is highly desirable.\nProficiency in using Gitlab for project management.\nA passion for learning and staying current with industry trends.\n5+ years' experience\nDesired Skills & Experience \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience with Agile development methodologies.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD \nContinuous integration/continuous delivery techniques\nFamiliarity with C++\nApplication Deadline: October 26, 2026\nThe SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
