This position requires the Security+ certification and an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy features.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java Utilize Gitlab, Gitlab Runner, Docker, Kubernetes and Helm Charts for deployments.\nOptimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.\nTroubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance.\nUtilize Jira for project management and tracking.\nApply standards and protocols to ensure compliance and security.\nRequired Skills/Experience: \nClearance: TS/SCI CI Polygraph\nOn site support Monday - Friday in Chantilly, VA, Herndon, VA or Aurora, CO\nSecurity+ certification \nExperience in Java development utilizing various libraries such as SpringBoot, Mockito, Lombok, OpenAPI (Swagger) and other similar libraries developing RESTFul services.\nThe software application I is managed through Git and built using gradle.\nOther third-party applications that are utilized is Kafka, MongoDB, ActiveMQ and/or NiFi.\nApplications are containerized and deployed to a Kubernetes cluster using Helm Charts.\nDesired Qualifications: \nExperiences with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is also desired.\nApplication Deadline: September 28, 2026\nThe SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
