You'll be integrating mission simulation tools into an automated system-level trade study execution architecture.\nYou will have a strong hand in defining requirements, specifying designs, and implementing an ever-growing portfolio of space mission operations analysis simulations and trade studies. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelors degree in aerospace, astronautics, mathematics, or physics and nine (9) years of experience with:\nAt least one programming language: MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, or C++.\nLive, virtual, and/or constructive (LVC) simulation techniques and technologies.\nSimulation development experience with simulation environments such as STK, AFSIM, GMAT, or FreeFlyer.\nMATLAB and/or Simulink or other simulation scripting languages.\nPreparing and delivering presentations and technical demonstrations.\nSatellite orbital mechanics & maneuvers, remote sensing, spacecraft launch/command/control, and/or satellite communications. \nEquivalent experience with airborne systems is applicable to this role.\nManaging files & directories, network file sharing, installing software & licenses, and command line shell (Windows Cmd or Bash).\nActive TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI is required, along with SCI eligibility and participation in Continuous Evaluation.\nMust meet all requirements for SCI and SAP access and be willing to undergo a polygraph examination.\nTravel is 10%\nDesired Qualifications:\nSimulation software development, test, and integration experience in a team environment. Use of Agile methodology and Atlassian Jira are beneficial.\nPrior industry experience in aerospace or space & defense.\nSystems engineering, with experience defining and executing trade studies. Engineering methodologies such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Multidisciplinary Design Analysis Optimization (MDAO), or Model-Based Design are a plus.
