You will own the mechanical design lifecycle from concept through manufacturing and testing, ensuring our hardware is flight-ready and reliable.\nResponsibilities\nDesign mechanical components, assemblies, and structures for spacecraft systems\nPerform structural, thermal, and tolerance analysis on mechanical designs\nCreate detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD software\nWork with manufacturing partners to produce prototypes and flight hardware\nDevelop and execute test plans for mechanical qualification and acceptance\nConduct trade studies on materials, fasteners, and joining methods\nCollaborate with systems, electrical, and software engineers on integrated design\nSupport assembly, integration, and test activities\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field\nExperience with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, NX, or similar)\nUnderstanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T\nExperience with version control or configuration management\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're building technology that hasn't been done before.
