We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer with experience in the space industry.\nResponsibilities/Duties\nAs an AI Engineer for Spacecraft Operations at Telespazio Germany, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and driving the transfer-to-operation of cutting-edge AI solutions for our customer, ESA (ESOC). Your role will bridge the gap between application development and spacecraft operations, collaborating closely with our talented software developers and spacecraft operators.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop AI solutions to be deployed in the domain of spacecraft operations.\nLiaise and collaborate with spacecraft operators to understand their needs, create user stories, and facilitate technology adoption.\nLead the transition of developed solutions to their operational use.\nDrive to the company's AI strategy in coordination with fellow AI engineers.\nQualifications/Experience\nTo thrive in this role, you should possess:\nA University degree/PhD in Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.\nExperience working within the Space Industry;\nFamiliarity with AI software development tools and methodologies, including MLOps and DevOps.\nProficiency in coding and scripting languages such as Python, C++, or Java.\nExperience with CI/CD and containerization tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar;\nComfortable working in a client-facing role.\nStrong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners.\nProficiency in English, both in speech and writing.\nDesirable Skills\nIn addition to the essential skills, we value candidates with:\nProficiency in data management infrastructure, optimally for satellite ground segments.\nA broad understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts and their practical application (e.g. LLMs or Anomaly Detection).\nSeniority:\nJunior\nPrimary Location:\nDE -
