As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our AV Administrators to master the use of AV equipment and systems, ensuring seamless experiences in our expanding network of conference rooms and event spaces.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support for daily technical issues, maintenance, and general upkeep of all AV hardware and systems. You will also play a critical role in supporting live events, meetings, and hybrid/remote gatherings. To succeed, you must be a motivated, organized, and results-driven individual with excellent listening skills and strong oral and written communication abilities.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupport AV/VC solutions locally and globally to support in-region teams.\nSupport events around the SpaceX office from an audio/visual standpoint, and occasional out-of-hours event support.\nRespond promptly to requests for technical support via email, ticketing, and chat as needed.\nResponsible for troubleshooting hardware and applications, providing technical support, and problem solving.\nExhibit a high level of professionalism and are passionate about providing outstanding customer service.\nDocument the status of issues and provide updates to management, team, and end users.\nMaintain standard operating procedures, best practices, and customer service guidelines.\nCreate documentation for AV troubleshooting and configuration for team members and end users.\nParticipate in onboarding and training team members.\nDrive quality and adherence to best practices within the team.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate.\n1+ years of professional experience in AV support.\nProfessional experience in live audio and video production or video conferencing solutions and support.\nProfessional experience with Mac or Windows OS.\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nFamiliarity with one or more of the following: Q-SYS, Logitech, Biamp, Extron, Shure.\nExperience supporting Microsoft Teams or video conferencing technologies.\nExperience with line drawings, signal flow, AV concepts.\nKnowledge and ability to terminate various audio and data connections.\nCabling experience including pulling and terminating.\nConstruction or mechanical background.\nKnowledge of layer 1 network technology.\nCustomer service, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.\nOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills.\nQ-SYS, CTS, Crestron DM, or similar certifications.\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMust be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed.\nMust be physically fit enough to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. for duties (i.e. delivering computers, unpacking and rack-mounting equipment).\nMust be willing to travel to other SpaceX sites in support of program needs.\nMust have valid driver's license.\nAbility to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg.\nITAR REQUIREMENTS:\nTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
