Our team is growing, and we are actively seeking talented individuals who share our passion for space.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, implement, train and oversee reliability test strategies for product and the subcomponents of the product to maximize space life and eliminate early life failures.\nDesign and execute novel environmental, RF, and electrical testing techniques tailored to the product and its functions.\nCollaborate with design teams to plan and execute projects, including modifications, repairs, calibrations and routine maintenance of equipment such as racks, enclosures, and DAQs for the system and component level testing.\nWrite test programs to exercise functionality of the product and its subcomponents over various conditions and environments.\nAutomate reliability testing initiatives and reporting using proprietary visualization techniques and through knowledge of the product and its functions.\nWork collaboratively with hardware, software and network engineering teams to maximize reliability across all disciplines.\nDefine the ongoing reliability of testing strategies to monitor the manufacturing process health and screen for long term reliability defects caused by process and component variability.\nInterpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to guide installations, troubleshooting, and upgrades of support equipment.\nCollaborate in team meetings and activities.\nProvide basic on-site technical assistance for operations during scheduled maintenance and testing activities, ensuring equipment is used safely and correctly\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in an electrical engineering discipline and . We will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience\n3+ years of electrical test engineering experience\nTest Software experience (ex. C++, Python, Labview, Simulink)\nIn-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of operations, engineering and quality.\nGood working knowledge of ISO, AS9100 and quality control standards.\nExperience with operations, engineering and quality processes along with their principles.\nAbility to work with a team along with providing guidance to drive improvements towards process efficiency.\nExcellent communication and liaison skills as an individual.\nAbility to work well within a team driven culture.\nProven track record of driving continuous quality improvement in a engineering as well as manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems.\nEngineering knowledge of programming test applications as well as strong knowledge of electronics including the ability to generate/read schematics, assembly drawings, and parts lists.\nWhat Makes You Stand Out\nAS9100 industry with SPACE experience is a plus.\nPCB Design Experience (Altium)\nExperience building, designing, and testing wire harnesses\nPrior ETE experience a plus.\nExperience in startup environment a plus\nAt ispace, we believe that diverse perspectives drive innovation.
