This program offers university and graduate students hands-on experience through project-based work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Throughout the program, Interns will have exposure to mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities.\nThe Mechanical Engineering internship for Strategic Systems will participate in a project involving component mechanical engineering for components of a roll control system (RCS).\nResponsibilities:\nConduct SolidWorks tasks including entry level mechanical design, drawings, data management, and creation of toolbox features\nAssist in performing integrating and collecting engineering data for basic lab-based testing\nAbility to machine and fabricate simple prototype test components\nAssist engineering personnel in creating PowerPoint presentations, engineering test data reduction using Excel, writing reports using Word\nRequirements:\nCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; junior standing by fall 2026\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nExperience with SolidWorks, Ansys, and Microsoft Office tools\nWorking knowledge of mathematical and statistical principles and formulas\nBasic knowledge of mechanical systems\nAbility to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff as well as for final presentation at program completion\nPreferences:\nPrevious internship, coursework, or project experience\nHourly Pay Range: $23.50-$30.00 per hour\n*Hourly rate determined by academic year, college major, line of business, geography\nPlease click “Apply” to submit your application.\nTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.\nVoyager is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
