This role involves working with innovative technologies in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, professional, and passionate about helping others while ensuring the reliability and performance of IT systems across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide support for end users across workstations, servers, and mobile device platforms (hardware and software).\nSupport engineering applications running on Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS 7, and Windows 10.\nPrepare, deploy, and ship new hardware to remote sites and end users.\nDeploy and maintain on-premises hardware including routers, switches, servers, workstations, monitors, and printers.\nManage user accounts in on-premises Active Directory and cloud-based identity providers (e.g., Entra ID, LastPass/1Password).\nPerform software installations, patches, and upgrades to maintain system security and integrity.\nTroubleshoot and diagnose system issues across hardware and software layers.\nCreate and maintain systems documentation for repeatability and compliance.\nEscalate complex issues to subject matter experts when necessary.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field preferred\nExperience:\n5+ years of experience with Windows desktop support.\n5+ years of experience with hardware maintenance tasks such as racking servers, switches, deploying workstations, setting up printers, etc.\nGood working knowledge of networking fundamentals such as the OSI model, TCP/IP stack, communication protocols, firewalls, routing, etc.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBilingual in English and Spanish.\nIT related certification from Red Hat, Microsoft, CompTIA, VMWare, etc.\n2+ years of experience with Linux desktop support, preferably Ubuntu and RHEL/CentOS 7+.\nExperience with virtualization products such as Hyper-V or VMWare.\nExperience with cloud Infrastructure as a Service such as AWS or Azure.\nExperience with Cisco Meraki network infrastructure.\nExperience with macOS, iOS, and Android devices.\nScripting and automation experience.\nExperience with Dell iDRAC.\nSoft Skills\nStrong interpersonal skills.\nProven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nMeticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of all documentation and project deliverables.\nEagerness to help others and solve problems proactively.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.\nTechnology Stack\nWindows 10, Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS\nGit, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Active Directory, Entra ID, LastPass/1Password\nTCP/IP, OSI model, firewalls, routing\nHyper-V, VMware\nAWS, Azure\nPython, Bash\nmacOS, iOS, Android\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work in a standard office environment and use a computer for extended periods.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nPhysical ability to rack servers, move equipment, crawl under desks, and manage Ethernet cabling.\nFlexibility to work on-call when necessary.\nThis job description may not be inclusive to the duties and responsibilities listed.
