This role involves performing detailed analyses, preparing comprehensive financial reports and projections, and supporting various financial planning and analysis activities. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure that financial plans are accurate and aligned with the company's objectives. This position requires recent experience in leading teams both formally and informally.\nIn this role, you will lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. You will perform detailed analyses and prepare comprehensive financial reports and projections, providing actionable insights to support informed decision-making. Supporting various financial planning and analysis activities, you will help ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will gather necessary information for financial planning and utilize data analysis tools to perform detailed financial analyses. You will prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency. Additionally, you will maintain knowledge of DoD, government contracting, and public auditing policies, including labor rate composition, to ensure compliance and effective financial management. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nRequires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience).\nTypically 8+ years of related experience.\nRecent experience in leading teams both formally and informally.\nExperience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management.\nExperience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis.\nExperience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.\nExperience with advanced features in Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.).\nStrong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.\nKnowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAdvanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.\nCertifications: CPA, CFA, or FP&A.\nProficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nFamiliarity with financial planning and analysis best practices.\nExperience in preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management.\nProven track record of leading financial projects or teams.\nStrong leadership and mentoring skills.\nCompensation :\nPay Range:\n$116,697.00 - $160,457.25\nYour actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.\nElevate Your Career\nAt Sierra Space, we are committed to your personal and professional development.
