You’ll be contributing to the build of real satellite hardware, supporting one of the most advanced space manufacturing programs in the country.\nThis position is based in our satellite production facility in Midland, TX , with full relocation provided (details below).\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Structural Tower Technician - 1st Shift to support assembly, maintenance, and operational activities in a high-performance manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience working with large assemblies.\nThis position plays a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, and operational efficiency while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.\nCompensation & Schedule\nPay: DOE based on experience, with overtime opportunities. Higher-level roles are available for more experienced candidates at increased pay.\nSchedule: Standard shift is Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (4x10) with paid lunch and breaks .\nFlexibility: Night and weekend shifts with increased pay are also available depending on experience and team needs.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, machinery, and mechanical systems\nAssemble and disassemble large-scale mechanical components per engineering specifications\nInstall, configure, and test equipment and systems\nPerform routine preventive maintenance and inspections\nRead and interpret work instructions, technical manuals, and engineering drawings\nDocument work performed, including troubleshooting steps and outcomes\nFollow all safety policies and procedures and report hazards\nCollaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues\nProvide technical support and guidance to team members as needed\nSkills & Competencies\nTroubleshooting and problem-solving\nAttention to detail and quality focus\nTeam collaboration and communication\nAbility to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment\nTools & Equipment\nMechanical hand and power tools\nTorque tools and fastening systems\nMaterial handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, cranes)\nTechnical documentation systems\nWhat You Bring:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nExperience in a mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environment\nAbility to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings\nExperience with mechanical assemblies and fastening systems\nAbility to perform the physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation\nMust be authorized to work in the United States\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with crane operations and rigging\nExperience operating forklifts or material handling equipment\nExperience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments\nFamiliarity with torque tools and industrial fastening systems\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of time.\nAbility to use hands and fingers to perform repetitive and precision tasks.\nAbility to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as required to perform job duties.\nAbility to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing.\nAbility to work in, on, around, and in proximity to large structures, equipment, and tooling.\nAbility to lift, push, and/or carry items up to 50 pounds as required.\nAbility to work near moving mechanical parts and equipment.\nAbility to work in and around tight or confined spaces.\nAbility to work in environments that may include exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and/or hazardous materials (e.g., carbon fiber).\nIf you are open to relocating to Midland, this can be a career changing, and life changing, move into the high-tech aerospace world offering a new skill set and job security in a very similar environment that will soon feel like home.
