Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.\nBENEFITS COORDINATOR\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide support with administration of employee benefit programs, such as medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability insurance, and retirement plans, including new hire orientation and annual benefits open enrollment\nAssist, advise, and counsel employees on day-to-day benefit-related questions (via email, phone, walk-ups, and drop-in sessions)\nMaintain integrity of eligibility enrollments within Workday\nPartner with our payroll department to ensure accuracy of benefit deductions\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:\nEmployee perks administration, employee services, and company wellness initiatives\nRelocation administration\nCommuter benefits administration\nLeaves of absence (LOA) administration\nWorkers’ compensation administration\nOnsite medical and dental clinics\nOnsite preschool\nEmployee perquisites and wellness initiatives\nCommuter benefits\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree\n6+ months of administrative experience (internship experience qualifies)\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\n2+ years of experience in employee benefits, leave of absence, or workers’ compensation\nExperience with Workday or other HRIS system\nAbility to use independent judgment and prioritize work\nEffective verbal, written and presentation communication skills\nDemonstrated proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel\nAttention to detail and commitment to quality\nHighly collaborative style and strong team orientation\nHighly organized with ability to manage multiple high-priorities in a fast-paced, loosely structured environment\nAbility to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines\nBilingual in Spanish\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThis is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA area\nPosition requires ability to work overtime hours and weekends when needed\nMust be willing travel to other SpaceX sites (up to 15%)\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:\nPay Range:\nLevel 1: $27.00\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
