This position involves monitoring, tracking, and coordinating parts, workflows, and schedules in a high-stakes aerospace manufacturing environment. The role requires collaboration across planning, procurement, engineering, production, and test teams to maintain data integrity, optimize logistics, and drive efficiency while adhering to SpaceX specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic setting.\n RESPONSIBILITIES:\nReceive, store, and issue raw materials, parts, details, and hardware to support lab operations\nMonitor, track, and coordinate movement of parts to ensure project readiness\nOversee RFI (inventory request) material for upcoming jobs, lineside material cycle counts, and external storage organization\nRun clear to build reports to optimize testing schedules\nImplement and maintain 5S standards for tools, equipment, and consumables\nOrganize and maintain calibrated devices, including recalling those in active use as needed\nDevelop and implement cost reduction processes and efficiency improvement measures\nRemove defective equipment from work centers and communicate quality issues to engineering team for resolution\nDevelop and maintain reports to highlight critical needs, deliverables, and constraints as required for customers\nAnalyze data and work with management to develop and verify metrics as required to drive optimal results\nWork with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure our scheduling and inventory data is and remains clean and accurate\nEnsure a safe working environment is maintained at all times\n BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate\n2+ years of supply chain, inventory control, or manufacturing experience\n PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree\nExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)\nProficiency with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)\nExperience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes\nExperience operating a forklift and related equipment\n2+ years of experience in aerospace, electronics, automotive, or other high-volume manufacturing\n2+ years of inventory control experience\nSQL and/or Tableau experience\nAPICS Certification\nTrack record of process and design improvement suggestions being successfully implemented\nAbility to adapt to changing work assignments within a fast-paced environment\nEffective communication skills (verbally and written) with engineering, technicians, and leadership\nExcellent collaboration skills and ability to foster a strong team environment\n ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: \nAvailable for overtime and weekends as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility required\nAble to work in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise\nLifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position\nAble to be mobile and on foot for extended periods\nThe ability to lift heavy objects is required in this position (up to 25 lbs. unassisted)\nAble to work at elevated heights\nValid driver’s license\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:\nPay Range:\nLevel 1: $22.00 - $25.00\nLevel 2: $24.50 - $29.50\nLevel 3: $28.00 - $32.00\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
