The ideal candidate brings applicable industry experience to the table and will be armed with strong communication skills and an innovative problem-solving ability. They must be able to thrive in a hands-on environment and will spend time in the office, on the factory floor, and in the classroom.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDevelop and deliver training instructions using manufacturing planning-based applications\nSteer the introduction of all forms of training documentation used by production and engineering for on-the-job training\nLead implementation of qualification-based authority training initiatives to accomplish training & certification verification\nLead new course & new course content development, including the ability to build new training courses that align with engineering specifications\nEnsure new/underdeveloped process skills are identified proactively and training is delivered where increased skill proficiency will measurably reduce risk\nCreate course materials, such as PowerPoints, student handouts, and tests for instructor-led programs with student assessments. This includes maintaining/revising existing material\nLead training modules (classroom and online) for SpaceX personnel on a variety of technical topics\nDevelop process specifications and research on new technologies\nEngage production management, engineering, quality, and subject matter experts to gather required technical information on complex manufacturing processes and technologies\nMonitor human error trends as a result of training to assess training impacts and provide solutions to demonstrate a downward trend\nTeach electrical safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Arc Flash awareness, NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements, and safe work practices\nOnboard and train new hires. Set up initial trainings and familiar them with Starlink user terminal\nMaintain training documents and SOP’s within the Personnel Qualifications systems\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate\n2+ years of work experience and increasing responsibility in training coordination, project coordination, and/or learning and development\nNFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace) knowledge or certification\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nOSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety training\nExperience with 480/277 volt and 208/120 volt systems\nFire systems knowledge with NICET certification\nExperience with industrial, commercial, or aerospace/electrical systems is a plus depending on the industry\nPrior NCCER credentials (Instructor/Proctor/Coordinator) \nTraining experience within a manufacturing environment\nSkills to independently analyze, review, and research manufacturing processes and applicable standards\nExcellent oral and written training/communication skills\nAbility to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and machine operation\nDemonstrated experience as a team-oriented self-starter, eager to meet and exceed objectives, with the ability to handle a multi-project environment\nAbility to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics\nExperience with computer-based learning management systems\nExperience with design tools commonly used in a learning creation environment (MS PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline)\nAbility to clearly and effectively communicate in both written and oral formats\nOpen collaborative style; ability to work both in a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision or direction\nAbility to communicate professionally with all levels of management\nJourneyman or Master Electrician license\nRelevant teaching/training credentials (e.g., Certified Technical Trainer, adult education certificate)\nManufacturer-specific or industry certifications (e.g., PLC, motor controls, high-voltage systems) as applicable\nStrong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), electrical theory, wiring methods, troubleshooting, and safety standards\nAbility to develop and deliver training materials (lesson plans, presentations, hands-on labs, assessments)\nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills\nFamiliarity with adult learning principles\nProficiency with common tools, multimeters, and basic computer applications (PowerPoint, LMS platforms, etc.)\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThis role is located in Bastrop, TX and will require you to be onsite.
