Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.\nINVENTORY SPECIALIST (COPVS)\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nReceive, store and issue raw material, parts, details and hardware to support shop operations\nStore parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks, identifying part and stored location\nMaintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures\nPerform picking function to make up necessary kits of parts, material and hardware as required, ascertaining that all parts are available and accounted for in kit\nVerify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity and revisions\nIssue material against approved paperwork such as affixing verification and traceability on required serialized parts before issuing\nAbide by all procedures, desk instructions and standard operating documents\nMonitor shelf-life storage and maintain proper rotation of stock\nSupport the organizations metric goals and objectives\nPerform good housekeeping chores in area\nPerform cycle counts\nValidate lot trace\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate\n1+ years of inventory control experience\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\n3+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse\nExperience operating a forklift and other related inventory equipment\nExperience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes\nExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)\nExperience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields\nERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)\nBachelor’s degree\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nMust be able to work Mon - Fri shift schedule (6:00 AM to 4:30PM)\nLifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position\nMust be able to work overtime and weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted\nStand: Up to 6 hours per day \nSit: Up to 3 hours per day\nPush/Pull: Up to 75lbs. (unassisted) 2 hours or longer per day \nOverhead reach: Up to 1 hour per day \nWalk: Up to 3 hours per day \nLift/Carry: Up to 50lbs. (unassisted) 2 hours or longer per day \nClimb (ladder/stairs): up to 1 hour per day \nKneel/Crouch: up to 1 hour per day \nUpper body twist: Up to 6 hours per day \nAbility to work in temperatures over 80 degrees: up to 1 hour per day \nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:\nPay Range: \nInventory Specialist/Level 1: $20.00/hour\nInventory Specialist/Level 2: $22.50/hour\nInventory Specialist/Level 3: $25.00/hour\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
